The SMG Youth Group is dedicated to fostering lifelong discipleship, deepening faith, and a building community among our teens:

1. Evangelization and Catechesis:
    
   • Our primary mission is to evangelize—to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with passion and conviction.
   • Through catechesis, we provide systematic instruction, ensuring that young people grow in their understanding of the faith and our rich Catholic Tradition.
      
2. Advocacy for Spiritual and Personal Needs:
    
   • We recognize that each young person has unique spiritual and personal needs. Our ministry actively advocates for these needs, ensuring that they are met.
   • Whether it’s through prayer, mentorship, guidance, or community support, we strive to create an environment where young people feel heard, understood, and cared for.
      
3. Community Building:
    
   • We recognize that belonging is a fundamental human need, especially during adolescence. Our ministry actively fosters a sense of community among teens towards true human flourishing.
   • Through youth groups, retreats, and service projects, we create spaces where young people can connect, share their faith journeys, and support one another.
   • By building strong relationships within the community, teens find encouragement, friendship, and a sense of purpose. Together, they navigate the challenges of life, celebrate joys, and grow in their faith.

We meet most Wednesday nights during the school year from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
