• The Social Outreach Ministry is located at the Padre Pio House at 1301 Paxton Avenue, one block east of the church.

• Clients can call and make an appointment once a month for a Tuesday or Saturday

• Entry is via the back gate only
• A Volunteer will greet them at the entry gate as they come in
• Carts will be labeled on the back deck with the client name and as each area is visited, those items placed in the carts by the area volunteer.
• Area's are defined as Food Room, Bread/Sweets and Freezer/Refer area.
• A Volunteer will take the cart to the curb - the client may not move the cart due to safety and insurance protocol.
• The client will pull their vehicle up between the orange cones and load their food from the cart.
• If there are donated items such as clothing, etc. the client must load their vehicle, move it to the back parking lot and then can come in and look through the items.

   Hours of Operations for the clients:

Clients are accepted by zip code and must call 817 274-5407 to make an appointment.  
 There are no more walk ups and no more bulk client days, all are by appointment.  
 Appointments start at 8:30 am with 10 minute intervals on Saturday until 11:50 am and Tuesday 830 am until 11:50 am.
 Volunteers answer the phone and return messages on: Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
 Clients scheduled on Tuesday are called Monday to remind them of their appointment. 
 Clients scheduled on Saturday are called Thursday and/or Friday to remind them of their appointment.

Social Outreach Ministry moved into its permanent location, the Padre Pio House on July 28, 2016.  

The Social Ministry began serving clients on August 2, 2016 from that location.  

 Clients need:
   1. Valid government issued ID, i.e. Drivers License, State or Federal ID, Military ID, Consulate ID, Passport or the new Passport ID for Canada or Mexico
(we do not accept local, non government issued ID's or Social Security Cards)
   2.  Utility Bill to include Cell Phone bill, electric or gas bill
   3.  Birth Certificates for all, especially children 16 and under - no copies

   Clients have two visits to provide all of the above, however, must have something on the first visit to confirm zip code.

Tuesday's and Saturday's excluding Holidays noted below and the month of July.*
   Closed 2 weeks at Easter (week of and week after)
   Closed 2 weeks at Thanksgiving (week before open on Tuesday and closed week of)**
   Closed 3 weeks at Christmas and New Years (week before Christmas and open the first Tuesday or Saturday after New Years
   (If New Years on a Wednesday through Saturday, then open on Tuesday after, if New Years on a Sunday through Tuesday, then open on the Saturday after.)

   *July is now split with visits half the month, alternating weeks.
  

DONATIONS FOR SMG SOCIAL OUTREACH MINISTRY

 A large green recycle bin has been placed behind the Padre Pio House with DONATION signs on it.  Please place items inside these bins to protect from the elements and animals.  Donated items will be moved regularly to the Padre Pio/Social Ministry area.

 PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE BROKEN ITEMS, OLD STYLE TV's, or adult clothing. 
 Take furniture and adult clothing to Mission Arlington.   
 Mission Arlingon will also only accept clean clothing as they no longer have the means to clean them.  They will not accept old style TV's, leave these on your curb for the city to haul away.  This would also include broken appliances.

 You may also place food donations in the Narthex of the church (entry area) in the baskets provided at the weekend Masses or even daily Mass.
