Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation constitute the "Sacraments of Christian Initiation." By the Sacrament of Confirmation we are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.
The sacrament of Confirmation is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and brings an increase and deepening of baptismal grace.
Confirmation is normally celebrated at age 15 in the Diocese of Fort Worth. For Adult Confirmation of those 18 and older, refer to 'Adult Confirmation Class' under the 'Faith Formation' tab.
For your child to participate in our Youth Confirmation Program, you must be a registered and active member of our parish for at least 6 months. To be considered 'active,' please place envelopes (even if empty) in the offering basket at Mass to let Father know that you are attending Mass here. LACK OF MASS ATTENDANCE MAY RESULT IN RECEPTION OF SACRAMENTS BEING DELAYED. Faith Direct users may drop the card with their member number in the collection instead of envelopes. Anyone who forgets their envelope or card can write their name on one of the blank envelopes provided in the pews, and your attendance will be recorded. A copy of a Baptismal Certificate is also required before additional Sacraments can be conferred on an individual..
